2005 F 430 exhaust warranty

I got the warranty card in the mail last week to "check" the tailpipes for looseness. Im concerns mine only has 4k on the clock and may not have exhibited the concern due to low mileage. I think the update only addresses troubled units? with new tailpipes. Can somebody share if the update is not time bounded, meaning I can bring mine in a year from now or is it a one time update, suggesting i should request the new pipes to avoid downstream concerns? Mine is out of warranty.
