I believe it was also aired on Xmas day at 1 pm est - didn't watch it. We watched the "Champions" version on Speed over the weekend- it was pretty good. We also watched some really good LMES over the weekend too. Those guys can do some awesome racing in the rain and definite adverse conditions. Much more exciting than F1. The 550's put on a good show too.

I watched this program and was pretty disappointed - it was an exciting season but somehow the summary was too cut and dry for my liking. Oh well!

When you have the Pescarolo Lola (Collard/Boullion) and the Audi R8 (McNish/Ortelli) exchanging first and second place for 1000 km in the rain and lack of visibility, passing each other and the others on track - that was some awesome racing in Instanbul. BMS scuderia Italia took GT1 with a 550 - in fact the 550's placed 1,2,3. GT2 was taken by a Porsche over a 360 (I'm not much of a fan of 360's - look like "Vettes" or a large boat in the front to me).

Perhaps my like of endurance racing comes from ages ago involvement with cross country and enduros (several 24 hour ones) with Yamaha and Penton motorcycles :)
