This thread has more deleted posts than any thread I've ever seen on here. Your 430 is mint. The Challenge wheels are the only way to go on a 430.

Without question the best car I've ever driven was a 430 (albeit with paddles). I'm a bigger fan of the 360 exterior, but man the car I drove was utterly brilliant. Absolutely loved it.

This is a great looking car - GLWS. Too bad my 308 wasn't worth more, I'd consider selling it and jumping to this...really nice. Someone buy it!!!

 

I understand not wanting to trample on anybodies ad, but sometimes the associated discussion can be very informative....and entertaining. Is there a mechanism by which one could read the deleted posts?....are they moved to another viewable location? Thanks,

There were indication it was spilt to a "430 MT (manual transmission) Market Discussion" thread in the 430 Section but I couldn't find it.

Was fortunate to drive this 430 and visit Michael recently. A beautiful car, well cared for indeed, and a great guy. Wanted to see this next to my 355 and couldn't make it happen at present. Poker tournament next week - if it goes well and this car is still available...

Tonight is my first night on Ferrari Chat and this is my first post.
Very excited as I have researched each of my other purchases on boards like this.
Unbelievable wealth of knowlege.....
My first toy was/is still an extremely modified 93' mazda rx-7.
Then, I got a Dinan S2 E39 M5 from the m5 board.
Then, I got the bond car - the bmw Z8 on the Z8 Board.
All 3 are extremely modified and manual. I am now looking for my 4th toy.
I still have the 911 GT2 and GT3 in the running, but pretty set on a Ferrari.
And, in that regard a manual f430.
I have driven a manual 355, and 360 as well as 550 at this point. Very nice but not my next toy. Tomorrow at 9 I will be at Ferrari of Washington test driving the manual yellow F430 they are selling for, I believe, $189k. It is posted on Dupont Registry. We will see how the ride goes. If I end up loving the ride I will be pretty set on that car being my next car, whether it be that car tomorrow, yours, or another. And, I will be driving a 458 as well tomorrow but I just can't see buying a car without a stick. But, we will see. My mind is open. If I love the paddles perhaps I can get away from the stick....and head to the 458 which is a pretty car. But, I doubt it....Drove the new m5 with paddles and it just didn't thrill me.
In any event, as you can see, I may be interested in your car. Where are you located if I wanted to see your car? I am in Columbia, MD
