    Hi Guys,
Thank You for the add. I found my dream car! Its a 2005 F430 Coupe w 11k miles. The dealer has all the manuals and books but the prevoous owners did not or lost the maintenance records.-they r still searching btw. Is there anyway to see what service has been done to it? Or what service would it need at those miles? Or future ones? Thx and hoping the #’s line up so it will be ours soon.

It depends where you are - the manuals may have the stamps from whoever did the services and they may be able to look them up - there is no central database of service just recalls

In theory there ought to be one service per year - again the full major/minor schedule should be in the books

Beyond that most answers have been previously posted here anyway to help folk in a similar position to you

maybe you can work into your negotiations some of the maintenance work be done at the dealer prior to pick up.

that way, at least you'll have fresh records and a new baseline to start from moving forward

I concern myself more with what service it needs now than what it needed prior.
In 11k miles, I doubt there would have been much other than fluids and filters.

PPI came back w awesome results and we are good w the deal. It has less than 10% clutch wear and less than 8% brake wear. Fluids are good and no issues.

Are you selling both your 458 & F430 due to your move?

Rarely do people lose service records, I would tend to assume the services were postponed (common for some owners). I would simply consider having all the fluids changed; coolant, oil, power steering, transaxle, brake. Then you have peace of mind.

Sounds like a great car, I hope you will post pictures.
