This looks like it could be a fun toy to buy: http://www.atscollection.com/detail-2005-ferrari-575-michelotto-used-5153454.html 2005 Ferrari 575 GTC Michelotto Asking price $700k. Estimated 605 hp. Probably very hard to make it street legal, but it would be a great car for those local car club track days. . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Isn't that car owned by someone on this forum? For some reason I'm thinking a couple months ago there was a thread where the owner was talking about that car as well as a bunch of other spare challenge car parts he has.
This car has been around for a while. I think their pricing is WAY high on all of their inventory. CW
I saw it a couple months ago in Florida at the track next to that F1 car that place has for sale Image Unavailable, Please Login
Am I the only one who fantasizes about driving something like this to and from work everyday? Blasting down the freeway; raucously growling in traffic, making people keep their distance on all sides; pulling into the office parking lot and parking like it's just another car; getting out in a nice suit and a racing helmet; putting your steering wheel in your briefcase. How awesome would that be?
LOL. The imagery of putting a racing steering wheel into a briefcase and walking off = too cool. Here is a pic for you - he probably has one in his briefcase where ever he goes. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That would be awesome! Could you imagine checking a steering wheel-laden briefcase at the airport? "Um, sir, what is this?" "It's my steering wheel." "Your ...what?" "My steering wheel; it's for my racecar. It's on level 4 in lot C." "..."
this would be a compromise for road use http://www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/cargrouptests/50158/ferrari_550lm.html
Roll cages are decidely UN legal!!! Mr. Risi here has an unraced example, in his collection.....very nice!!!!
Not sure what that scoop does. Both the red car and the flat black one have it. Maybe the roof scoop allows the 575 GTC driver to better smell the fear in the Porsche drivers he is rapidly catching up to & passing.
