Did you see a red 365GTB/4? I heard my friend Drew and his father Bob took theirs down there, along with some hotrod they built....

Dave Q- Nice pics and it was great seeing you and yours at the show along with Will & Alicia and we also saw Eric (etip) during lunch at the Wing Dome.

Dave H.- I walked the entire length of the show in the morning and 1/2 way down again in the afternoon, but I didn't see any Ferraris.

The only Italian cars that I saw were Fiats and Alfas.

I would be fun to get a group of Ferraris together for this show next year.

It is touted as the LARGEST car show in the Seattle area. Over 500 cars and 20,000+ specators.

Robert and I put our cars in the show the last two years. The count last year was around 750 cars.

It was fun but being the only two Ferraris made us feel unappreciated, especially when people called them Lambos.

I would be inclined to go again if other members showed some interest.

One note: You have to watch your car like a hawk because the spectators aren't as careful as they could be but usually the worst problem is tree sap and bomber birds.

I didn't see any FCars at the show, either, though the size of this show was pretty incredible. There was some very nice stuff. TheWhite Biodiesel Unimog was pretty sweet....in a unimog sort of way.

Our offer from last year remains for this year's for the Magnolia Village Show. If a group of Ferraris participated, organizers would be more than happy to provide ropes and create a Ferrari Corral of sorts. I believe it would be pretty awesome, considering thre are alot of nice Ferrari's hiding in Magnolia garages and storage spaces. Last year it rained, so the turnout wasn't great, but we've moved it up to August, to attempt to avoid such weather patterns. Dave's 328 and Etips 308 toughed it out through a miserable day....and looked pretty damn nice while doing it.

Don't feel too bad about the lambo thing.....
A friend of mine had two cars showing this year, along side Benchmark Motoring's custom Bentley GT.
We were asked the following questions in regards to the air suspension tank in the trunk of a 49 Cadillac Coupe on display:

    Is it Nitrous Oxide?
    Is it PROPANE!?!?
and my favorite.....Is it set a up for gas BBQ'ing???

And the all time favorite, in regards to the Bentley:

What is it? Is it a suped up Chrysler Crossfire?!?!

    ouch.

    Tyson,

What is the date of the Magnolia car show this year?

I found a web site for it, but it has not be updated since 2004.

The website is hurting a bit, isn't it?

August 20th is the date of the show 10:00am. To coordinate the ropes and the proper alotment of space to the Ferrari club or Fchatters it would be helpful to have registration filled out and an est. Ferrari count by Aug 10th.

Of course everyone is welcome to show up randomly, we just wouldn't be able to provide the ropes and safety measures most desirable for Ferrari owners.

    Tyson,

You should start a new thread promoting the show and giving instructions on registering.

I bet quite a few guys would be willing to bring their Ferraris out for the day, especially since you are offering to rope the cars off.

    Count me in.
