    May not be cheap but it's one of the most engaging cars there is...! Rally driving Enzo owner had both this and an Enzo and said the CLK DTM was the most exciting car he has. Another racing driver friend of mine says the same.

    Quite a claim!

    That said, the wheels are an enormous afterthought straight from the OZ catalog. Just look so dated...

    Is it possible that somebody mistook it for the earlier CLK with mid-engine V12?

    Might be easy to mix up in quotes.

    Definitely not. Specifically a CLK DTM, not the V12 or V8 ''le mans'' style car.

    These were approved for entry into the USA under the DOT's Show or Display provision not long after their release. I saw one of the first imported back in August 2005 during Car Week in the paddock at Laguna Seca. Under a separate application the DTM Cabriolets were also allowed entry.
