I just realized that my car required nothing but an oil change in 2005! That's the good news.

The bad news is, it went to the shop today with an exhaust leak and an oil leak.

You were lucky in 2005 but, I hope, you don't make up for it in 2006.

My '94 Acura Legend had an oil leak & it smoked if it sat in idle too long. My remedy to that problem was trading it in late at night for an '02 BMW 325i.

I wasn't so lucky - Last year just shy of $20K for both F-cars. Hopefully this year is only oil changes, but I don't think so - The slow down lights are acting up.

Just ran through the receipts, roughly $2500 this year on maintenance, the majority being a R&R of the oil cooler and way too much getting through the emission testing. The total included 4 tires, a new windows lift, and rear brakes.

Let's see, mechanical restoration on the 365, electrical sorting on the Mondial, and a new water pump on the 308. That and the wife reads Fchat.

No way in hell am I going to put that figure where it is easy for her to find...
