$30k less. That sellor isn't known for realistic pricing.

That's my dealer. I don't think their pricing is that much more unrealistic than most dealers. For what it's worth, I've purchased several cars from them and have had superb service each and every time.

As someone who is in the process of selling my 360, I can confirm that values on Ferraris are down sharply (shocker to everyone, I know). There are quite a few cars around for sale and precious few buyers. I was at Wide World of Cars yesterday and they have 2 brand new Scuds in stock and available for purchase. Ponder that - 10 months ago that would have been unthinkable. If you look in the ads on this site, there are at least half a dozen 430s for sale at ~150k. If any of them are motivated sellers, they are going to have to accept a lower price to be the one that's chosen by a real buyer.

Don't mistake this as whining or complaining (as many others have been guilty/accused of). Someone told me recently that nowadays these cars are basically just regarded as used cars, which I consider to be quite true.

All that said, if you really want THAT car and the price isn't an impediment to your enjoyment, then buy the car, drive it and enjoy it. Despite the sharp decrease in value of my 360 in just 2 years of ownership, it's given me a lot more enjoyment than a similarly performing investment portfolio value. I don't have a single regret (other than the thought of not having one...).

Echo that, tried to sell my 360, best I was got offered was $70k and realized it's worth a lot more than that to me. A fully loaded 05 F430 went for $137k locally so that's an idea of conditions here.

I've been looking at this alot as i was considering moving my 07 coupe and getting a spider.

The previous post said an 05 went for 135, and an earlier one suggested 150-ish for an 06. That's probably right. (though you must consider color and options) The 175 you mentioned should get you an 07 (I hate to say). Dealer will cost you maybe 10 or more additional versus private seller.

I know there are guys out there that probably have a bunch more data than i do. This is just what I'm sensing is going on right now. Having said that, it may all change tomorrow.....and.......its all about how many are buying in a given month.

Also look at this post http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=236735. Might give you an indication
