Similar to you, I had a 528i, then a 540i, then an E39 M5, then an M6 Coupe, then an M6 Cabrio, then bought the 360 Spider. They were all fitted with Tubi exhaust & the sound was just amazing. 360 is one amazing sexy machine. It was a dream car come true and I loved every second I spent driving it. The M4, the exhaust sound was a big disappointment. Even with aftermarket exhausts installed, its not much of an improvement. And what was BMW thinking piping in M4 exhaust sound to the stereo system....................... Wish you the best on your next car! Dan
Dan! When I was (finally) done with the 150K mile and 16 year old (2002) X5 and went to look for a 2018/2019 replacement, I looked at the MBenz GLE 43 and the X6. MB pipes in exhaust sounds to that car. So much so it was even more distracting than the Russian ex-model salesperson in the passenger seat... So I get ya on the M4. Sad to see/hear that BMW is doing that on the Ms. So dumb. Good luck to you as well. And ALL of us these coming days/weeks/months

Hi Kevin, My car is still available for sale. 3 people still interested & keeps in touch with me on a regular basis but all hesitant to make a big purchase due to current economic situation. Fully understandable. I have not done any for sale advertising except here in FChat. Im in no rush to sell. As I mentioned, I love this car and wish I can keep it but its time to try another Ferrari. I drove it yesterday for a couple of hours and my face hurt from smiling. So many people giving me the thumbs up and asking me to rev the engine. As I also mentioned I take very good care of my car. Last year one ignition coil failed so I replaced it. 2 months ago another one failed so I had my mechanic replace it. So I decided might as well replace the remaining 6 ignition coils as I feel they are all due for replacement as the car is 14 years old. My car now has all brand new 8 ignition coils and I feel the much improved torque during test drive yesterday. Here's a couple of quick short videos I took just last month. I know Dan and this car personally and I would have no problem purchasing it if I was in the market for an F430. The car looks excellent to my eye and Dan is fastidious about keeping up on all maintenance items. Plus the sound of this car is amazing!!! Summer is right around the corner, and a perfect time to cruise around in a red F430 Spider.
Thanks Mark! I just replaced all the ignition coils as preventive maintenance. Here's a short 1.5 minute video I created after going for a test drive a couple of days ago. I can tell the coils are definitely ending its usable life as I feel increased HP and Torque. You all take care and be safe. Dan

Yes, the roads are pretty much empty. I've lived here in Seattle for 43 years and never seen it like that. Traffic here is usually horrible. Cant believe the current gas prices either. This Covid stuff really changes our way of living........

Thanks Howard! I just turned 62, and at my age I now want something more comfortable and more civilized to drive. Hence, the Cali T is the best candidate for me considering its a GT and price is reasonable. Found the Cali T that I like with the colors I like with the features and options list that I want.
