This conversion appears to be a great deal if one looks at the cost of ownership. The clunky F1 sysyem, etc. is a hassle and not cheap to repair. Ferrari recommends changing the F1 clutch at 65% (though many defer to much less % ...or leaving to subsequent owners to fix). Generally speaking, Eliminate the F1 bother, replace the headers, replace the ball joints now and then (possible DYI), and the F430 is essentially a bullet proof car mechanically. Beautiful car, GLWS
I wish the vendor all the best with the sale. As an owner of two gated 430s I can point out the knob on his car is shinier (glossier, rather than satin finish), the stick is longer, and the gate is placed farther forward on the transmission tunnel. I would wonder if anything else is different under the surface. My observations can be corroborated by a Google search of images of the relevant parts on factory manual cars.
I never noticed before you mentioned it but I think u are right. These are from mine, more satin finish, stick seems shorter. Also knob base seems more prominent on the conversion. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Forgot that this was a for sale thread, didn’t mean to derail. Not knocking this car, which is a beautiful example, classic color combo. I’m all for conversions, would love to commission EAG to do a scud for me one day!
Looks like 40k for the conversion? Even though it totals 30k lower on the invoice, must be missing a page. Add 125k for the car and it would be at 165k plus some premium for not waiting. Not sure if there will be long term price premium for the conversions unless parts are no longer made and available.

So looking at your placement of the gate and comparing it with the last 2 posted, Im wondering if people that have this console in the this picture(whether its carbon or aluminum) looks like its further forward toward the front as appose yours being full leather trim with no aluminum/carbon piece. I think that would explain why it looks like the placement is different. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Honestly, this is cheaper than I expected the car to go. Out of my price range but I fully expected 430 manuals to be 250 without knowing the market
Ah! Not sure how I missed that. That makes a bit more sense then. Still a bit cheaper but at least in the realm
