Helping to sell for a less tech savvy friend. The car is 3 option (McIntosh, red calipers, and BBS's) and finished in Mark II black. He is the 2nd owner and bought it in late 2015, drove it a couple hundred miles, and is selling it because he believes it is too nice to drive and would rather drive his higher mileage one. The car has a little over 4,700 miles. Would be happy to give more details. Please PM me with interest. Price is market value so shoot me an offer.

I think they suffered from uncertainty regarding the new car and it's impact on prices but people are beginning to realize they are two different cars that only share a name.

Have seen this car multiple times in person and can vouch for its cleanliness. There isn't a blemish anywhere on it. Black with no stripes and red calipers presents amazingly well in person. The new owner will not be disappointed.

    Fantastic car!
    My personal opinion.

This is not a good economic environment to sell any collectible..
    The Market has stalled..
The only things that are selling are collectibles that are marked down at least 30 to 50 %

Case in point..a Miura S sold this week for under a million.
just 18/24 months ago, same such car would have sold for 1.5 to 1.8 million.

People are only chasing steals right now..
I wish you best of luck with sale but do not get disappointed if you get no or low offers..
    I say hold on till...________________________???
    soon.

I would agree, I think he is coming to terms with the market stall and would just like to break even.

I disagree - if these numbers are legit - this isn't the doomsday market of which you speak (at least for the FGT). FYI - I just copied and pasted this from another thread.

Mecum: 06 Heritage Edition ($420k hammer), 06 GT ($285k hammer)

Bonhams: 06 GT (high bid $260k)

Worldwide Auctioneers: 06 GT ($254k hammer)

    RM: 06 GT ($345k hammer)

Russo & Steel: 05 GT ($292k high bid), 05 GT ($215K high bid), 06 Heritage ($400k high bid)

    Goodings: 06 GT ($260k hammer)

The Gooding's one is an 1100 mile version of this exact spec. I believe after fees it was $286,000 or something.

Thanks! It really looks sleek without the contrast of a stripe. They look like a different car.

Thankyou very much, the red calipers are an awesome touch. The owner did a very good job in selecting this car.

Beautiful car, I would address the steering wheel column cover that appears to be broken or misaligned. It might signal to a potential buyer that the aftermarket cruise control wasn't installed correctly which is disconcerting given the risks if it fails. Again just my opinion. Beautiful spec and I hope it sells to someone who will appreciate it.

I agree on all points. As for now though, I think the owner is deciding to take the car back off the market due to his aim price being much higher than the actual market.

Where does he think actual market prices are at the moment, if I may ask (i'm not asking for his asking price, just where he perceives the market to be now)?

What decent Miura S sold for sub $1m? If there is a good solid car at this price not needing a $200k resto then let me know as I am a buyer!!
