Beautiful pic, Malcolm. I'm sure that you'll be on pins and needles until you meet again. It will be a mother and child reunion, I'm sure. :)

This is making me think I screwed up not registering for this event. My bank will appreciate it, however a hundred year anniversary comes along once in a lifetime. Grrrrrrr - GJ

An Ermini is a very interesting car, but expensive to maintain. If you break a part, you will have to make it. I don't know of any spares...

Thanks! I suspect there will be a tear or two in Nino's eyes when he sees her again.

If you don't get the windshield replaced in time, there certainly will be tears in Nino's eyes, and in yours too..............:)

She's looking superb; hope you get to see the old Syracuse street circuit, as well as the autodrome.

What is the date cutoff for cars to be allowed entry to this event? Could I get in with my Daytona? If so.... perhaps next year!

    Hello Bryan,

Yes I'm driving the Mondial together with my friend Guy Fawe, as we did the 2002 Mille Miglia. I only think the Giro di Sicilia/Targa Florio is much more relaxing than the MM but it’s a rally I really like to do. Let’s say as a tribute to Gendebien: 1 time winner of the Giro and 3 times winner of the Targa.

Dang. Seems they would allow cars through 1968 or in the modern class after 1971 but if you have a '69 or '70 model.... your screwed. Oh well.
