2006 MASERATI GT COUPE VERY RARE MANUAL TRANSMISSION | HEADTURNER | PAMPERED | PRIVATE SELLER Up for sale is my beautiful daily driver. This manual 2006 GT Coupe is a very rare car (1,078 cars in the whole production run) what makes it not only probably the coolest car for the money but also a very good investment for the future, as the combo of naturally aspirated Italian V8 engines and manual transmission has been stable or appreciating for a while. It turns heads everywhere it goes thanks to a striking design by Giorgetto Giugiaro (Italdesign), a Ferrari derived 4.2-litre Ferrari/Maserati F136 R V8 engine producing 385HP @ 7,000 RPM, its rare manual transmission and a few tasteful mods: - Tubi Mufflers, center X-Pipe and secondary de-cats by Florida Performance (original mufflers and cats included in the sale) - Full interior in black leather with grey piping and stitching and Maserati Trident embossed on the seat backrests, Alcantara headliner - 19-inch Variant Alloy powder coated in custom light gunmetal and custom trident center caps (Nexen tires almost new) - Bilstein shocks - Front Spoiler Car comes complete with manuals and 2 keys. Car is also featured here: https://www.builtforbackroads.com/listing/2006-maserati-coupe-gt For more videos/photos as well as the service history and previous PPI please contact me. Recent maintenance: The car is actually very reliable (pain point is the transmission on the much more common AUTO versions). I have enjoyed it for 2 years without any issues adding aprox 8k miles. In fact, I fixed all the minor issues highlighted on the PPI back when I purchased the car. Nice car, good for people with feet smaller than my size 12s. Interesting front splitter, it seems to fit well. Is that a universal application?
My size is 11.5 and I have no issues whatsoever.., The front splitter was installed already when I purchased the car. Does not seem to be universal as the fit is perfect, it is great quality, seems to be designed for the application although I haven't been able to identify the manufacturer this far. The rest of the mods are fully documented as you can see by the link. https://www.builtforbackroads.com/listing/2006-maserati-coupe-gt Nino
Thank you! The car is really awesome! Needs a new owner. It has been my daily for the last 2.5 years, I've enjoyed it a lot.
This is a really awesome car, I have driven several manual shift Coupes and they are brilliant to drive!
I'd love one of these in a spider. Might have to look if/when I get a place down in AZ again... (had and loved a Gransport Spider, but the F1 was wonky AF and left we stranded in an intersection a few times, so not looking to do that again.)
The aero on that splitter looks right, to me....generating some turbulence at the wheel well to aid brake cooling. Nice car!! GLWS!
The production numbers on manual spiders were very very low, so if that’s the route you’re thinking and a good one pops up, have the checkbook at the ready.
As far as I know only around 1,100 Manual GT Coupe were manufactured, what makes of it a very very car. Not sure how many of those were Cabrio though
There were around 1100 coupe GT's, and I believe something like 400 spyder GT's. The GS Spyder (CC) is the rarest.
These are so underrated! If this car had a prancing horse on the back of it, it would command 3x the current market value. The sound is sublime, the shift and clutch are nicely weighted with the pedals spaced perfectly for heel-toe (even in size 12 shoes) and the steering and handling with FD springs is so good that it makes this car a back roads weapon. Beautiful GT Coupe, good luck with the sale!
Thank you for the nice words. That's why the car has slowly but steadily appreciating over the years. Still a lot of potential as yo mention though, meaning it is still a bargain
Been there, done that. Twice. Otherwise a pretty amazing car. Manual is the way to go on these cars, and more fun to drive.
How difficult, and possible is a conversion? I would love to make mine a manual... Thank you. Regards, Alberto
It's not economically feasible. Look at the 6 speed cars that get top dollar on BAT and compare it to the cost of a 430 conversion.
