How cool is this - the original race used suit worn by Michael Schumacher when he broke Ayrton Senna's Pole Position record at the 2006 Imola GP. He signed and dated it for me and added "#66" which was the pole number.

Price??? More than a decent vintage Alfa Spider but less than a really nice 308. Or less than the first service cost on an Enzo.

No one will come close to beating Michael's records in our lifetime, making any of his artifacts "blue chip" investments.

    Looks great.

Any race items like helmets, suits, driving shoes, gloves - excellent investment depending on historical significance of the item might be worth even more.

Toy cars, hats, t-shirts, etc.. purchased at the track & signed by him, there are too many items like this that flood the market will have limited value & my not be authentic.

    Question...

Was this suit used for the race as well or just qualifying?

    Thanks

Typically there are two suits used per GP but sometimes he wears one on both days. I have the system completely figured out which is why it is smart to buy from someone in the industry....

Thanks for letting me have a close up look at this when I came to see you the other day......

Guys...you really have to grab some MS stuff while you can.....if this is indeed schuey's farewell...the chances for grabbing items like this will be scarce....

I'm seriously tempted to sell off some models and books to look into an original item...the only problem is that it's like being in a candy store there....everytime you turn your head you see something else that you can't live without......

Thanks again Morry.....love the Aston......and your Speedster is very cool ....any chance of a ride ?

    exactly.

This is why I have been collecting MS and Ferrari SPA stuff since 2000. Some stuff have gone up 100%+ in value in the past few years.

I have THE Spa item - the suit Michael wore when he broke Prost's #51 win record in 2001. This suit was worn on race day and is signed - Michael's 52nd win in a Championship Year! What a piece of history......
