Intheflesh, we will probably leave by 8:30, at the latest, thus passing through the NH border by about 9.

Just to clarify, the mall lot I'm talking about is right in front of Sears on the other side of the access road, along Middlesex Turnpike (if you look out from Uno's main door, it's to your 2 o'clock). No one really uses it because it's the furthest walk to any mall entrance, so the extra space will be good. It's where they keep the large excavators and snow plowers during winter time. Nonetheless, at 8 AM, there will be very few cars, so a group of sports cars will be quite conspicuous.

    Hasta manana!

Hello Jeff - Just a note to compliment you and your organization on a fine event today. Beautiful venue, well organized, and best of all- for a great cause. I arrived a little late and one of the volunteers escorted me to the Ferrari area. Very nice. I'll be back next year. We need more F-cars there. For those who were not able to make it you missed a nice event. Budweiser venue is great - beautiful lawns and walkways and real, clean restrooms. Sorry - did not bring a camera- Hope some of the others will post pics.

I ran into some of the caravan heading up route 3 N in Lowell as I was coming back from Boston in my work truck. The Ford GT sounded amazing! And Will, what were you doing so far back in the back?! Hope you guys had a fun time.

I guess I'm not great at taking PICs but here is the group of f-cars today RMDC's 308, my 328, and PROVA's TR. There was a 360 off on another corner, a 355 in the parking lot & some other interesting cars of people on this board (GT, Lambo, Lotus, etc.).

Nice meeting you guys! It's not that often that I see these cars up here in sticks.

It was great to see everyone!

Kenny, thanks for letting Kaydee sit in the TR. Mark thanks for letting me sit in the Diablo. I didn't mean to be so abrupt with my reply to "would you buy one." Great car all the same.

Joe, great to see you and your son again! Too bad we missed the "romp" to the event.

I look forward to seeing you all soon!

    Cheers!

two notes on the Esprits; one looked like it was euro spec with an unsual rear deck, no louvres. Another had a two tone dash board, when 84+ were always same color as the seats

I own the two tone dash. Some people choose to customize their car.

The owner of what you call the Euro spec car bought the car that way. Previous Owner Didn't like the Louvered back so he removed it.

Not that there is anything wrong with that...??? WTF

Prova - Yes, always great to connect the two - talked to the Bugatti owner as he was looking at my car - he volunteered that he raced it at Lime Rock - had to ask an obvious question - how much HP?- the answer - 50 HP - well, it is a 1926 Bugatti - loved the car. Wish I had one!

Nice ride up and the most enjoyable car show of the entire year, it is well run, inclusive, and the location is just right. I enjoyed seeing all the different cars, especially the old ones. Shotime's girlfriend Sarah took some great pics as well as the others listed here.

I'll let her know your comments.

We did very much enjoy the ride up as well as the show. Great people as always.

And a happy bonus, Sarah won the Aerosmith tickets 104.1 was giving away.

Way too much Gallardo in that design... ;(

Face it, the Esprit bug hit me 20 years ago as a kid. Now I have to find a fcaelift Esprit, and make room for it. I saw a red/tan 88 and a blk/tan 89 SE at a show last night. Since I know I will never find a 1 out of 100 blue Esprits in good shape, I think I will settle for a sinister black or stealthy silver. Values are holding on the 1988+ cars, so I might settle for the S4. I sat in a 2001 silver/blk 2001 V8 a few days ago, and I loved that glove-fit interior!

I am torn on the V8 vs. ol skool debate, can't really pick and choose on such a rare/hard to find car nowadays. Heck, if I see a 1983-86 Blue w/ gold mesh rims I would really struggle with the decision. Word is that the 88+ are much easier to work on and drive reliably.

Stick with an 01 or later V8. You will love it and it will be much more reliable than the early ones. I had a 02 for 3 years and never had problem, my buddy had a 99 and had head gasket issues, fuel tank vapors getting in the cabin,(never did resolve it completely) and rear bearings (went twice in 10K miles). Good Luck.
