Hi All- replaced battery and followed procedure in manual for restart.

Multiple failure lights on the dash. Abs, suspension, and system failure.

It will not cycle to “check ok” prior to starting.

Any ideas? I have searched with no luck….

    thanks

What lights are still on when you disconnect the battery with the switch in the trunk for about 1 minute?

    Try this:

    Run Cycle

    Run cycle.

Turn battery disconnect switch off and turn off all accessories (stereo, A/C, etc).

Let engine get completely cold or wait at least 30 minutes.

    Reconnect disconnect switch.

    Disarm immobilizer with the key.

Insert key in ignition and leave for 30 seconds.

Turn ignition to on and leave for 30 seconds.

Turn ignition off and leave for 30 seconds.

Turn ignition on, wait for Check OK, and start. May have to push fob again if 120 seconds have elapsed since last fob actuation.

Let idle with no input whatsoever for 10 minutes.

Turn accessories back on and drive gently for 10-15 minutes at least.

One way to avoid clearing out the car's "memory" is to connect a power supply (or spare battery) before disconnecting the battery. Of course, if your battery was completely dead, that won't help.

Always reliable info and Taz is that. If ever, rare, he's off it's typically a minor problem if any: most likely the question was mis-constructed causing incorrect response from Taz.
