    Hello

I apreciate help about following OBDll codes meaning: P2188 and P2190.

Dealer is 400km far from my city. I can read and reset codes with generic scan tool but it will return after some time.

    Thank you

Fuel management codes. It is likely the oil has been overfilled and the air meters are contaminated. There is a specific oil check procedure. 4,000 rpm for four minutes. Idle for one and check oil at idle. There is also a special oil additive that needs to be included with the oil change to assist in foaming. Many of the 599 are being overfilled and pushing oil through the pcv system.

    Hi all,
Just wanted to post that I recently had a similar problem. The car was showing both P2188 and P2190 codes without any noticeable symptoms. As the previous owner had performed a reflash from Evolution Motorsports (and secondary cat delete), the dealer wanted to replace the ECUs at an approximate cost of $5000. So we took the car to a trusted independent shop for a second opinion.
Just for goofs, we had EVOMS flash the ECUs back to the factory map and reinstalled the secondary cats. That didn't help and we continued looking elsewhere. Upon inspection, the MAFs did seem to have a thin oil coating on them. They were thoroughly cleaned, reinstalled and the codes cleared. After approximately 25 miles, the codes came back.
Ordered 2 new MAF sensors from Ricambi USA at a cost of $564. (As I recall, the dealer wanted almost twice that.) This seems to have fixed the problem. These cars are indeed sensitive to oil overfilling. Hope this helps someone!
