    Went to the dealer, there is a 6-speed option now for you clutch lovers.

    Sticking with the SMG.

    My guess is the 6-speed will be a bit slower than the 7-speed and the lack of low-end TQ will make it less fun to drive. Just a guess.

    And, the new antiquated foot clutch 6 speed option is set up so you CANNOT turn off DSC, a/k/a traction control like you can with the SMG model. A sad first for the history of the Ultimate Drivers Machine...

    Maybe BMW have been bought by Mercedes then, and its not out yet!!
