Hello everyone After a failed attempt to buy a 2006 Spider late last year, I am back in the game. I am looking at a black on tan 2007 F430 coupe with 2200 miles, F1, warranty till 2/10, after market wheels (original wheels also included in the sale), some options (CD changer, upholstered roof, some CF). CarFax is clean, shows as a one owner but registered to the first owner at 1130 miles and I confirmed with the seller it is a two owner (could it be a demo?). There are some service records as well which I will ask for only if I decide to make the trip down. What do you guys think it's worth? Won't post the asking price yet so the results are not skewed Also, should I do a PPI or just because it's under warranty I should be safe? Thanks, Sergio
I would get a ppi. May be fine but a ppi will tell you if there are any recalls, whether engine overheated, whether gearbox over heated, whether engine mechanically over revved, etc., etc. As for price here's a quote from another thread based on wholesale auction. Use it for comparison taking into account differences in MY, mileage, color, options, etc. "This is where the cars are trading AT, not opinions...I saw a 2005 f430 9k miles black/black Daytonas, carbon brakes, flawless condition, sell for $115,000 a couple days ago."
One correction: the warranty expires in Feb 2011, so it is still under warranty. Now, what do you guys think it's worth?
