Hi Guys , I purchased my first Ferrari a 2007 F430 this past August. It has 11,500 miles and is running fine . I would love to hear some feedback from other owners of F430s on the reliability and their experience of breakdowns ( hopefully not breakdowns ) of this model . Thanks

Congrats. I've had my '05 F430 since September 2016 and so far it's been rock solid. I bought it with 9256 miles and it now has 10,700 miles. You probably won't hear too many such stories here... people mostly post when something catches their attention. However, you're not far from the 15,000 mile maintenance, so keep that in mind. Keep it on the charger if you don't drive it for a week.

Main thing is the exhaust manifolds condition, known for failures

I purchase a 2007 F430 back in May with 12,700 miles. I recommend changing all fluids, you just never know. So far I have replaced the headers and the oil/water filter. PPI sucked. Other than that, it's been great.

I purchased my 07 F430 on 12/2012 with 6100 miles now at 33,000. The car has been pretty much trouble free.
Replaced headers under warranty at 12,000, left side exhaust valve replaced around 18,000, installed Capristo exhaust brackets at 18,000 and still on the MK2 headers, passenger window switch replaced at 22,000, rotors and pads at 27,000, OEM battery charger quit charging and battery replaced at 29,000, recently stranded with a split coolant hose that runs between the two cylinder banks, very small 5" hose about 1/2" diameter. Have done all of the yearly services and the 30k service. Original clutch at 30% worn. Couple sets of tires. It has been a pleasure to own this beautiful machine.

Meant to say I replaced the oil/water pump, PPI should have caught this.

Still on original clutch but time to switch out the battery. It's a pleasure to drive.

I bought mine with 10500 miles on it a year ago and I am now at 15000 miles. Two Flawless trips from Florida to Pittsburgh then from Pittsburgh to Florida.

I, too, had a 2007 F430. Only issues were exhaust tips and exhaust manifolds all of which were replaced by the dealer at no cost to me. Everything else was flawless. I had 5500 miles when I sold it a few years back to get my 16M which has also been bullet proof with 6K miles on the clock.

On my 05 I had headers replaced under warranty (known recall) and exhaust hanger crack repaired. Throw out bearing / seal at around 20k, which led to replacing clutch. Then gear position sender and actuator alignment of F1. Oh and f1 hydraulic accumulator. Other than these, the rest were pretty much bullet proof.

07 Spyder here. Bought it with about 31,500 miles and have about 33,500 miles now - I replaced the headers for sound and to alleviate potential issues. I have had it for 9 months now and had to replace an o-ring on the AC compressor - other than that, just enjoying her.

2007, put 5k miles on it in 3 years and nothing out of the ordinary, rear brakes at 24k miles, motor mounts, a few rattles to fix, great ownership experience.

Just purchased my 2007 f430 around one month ago from my research done previously aside from the known issues this year and model is almost bullit proof....drivetrain is considered very reliable this according to master Ferrari technicians...like mentioned many times before just keep up with maintenance....i find myself just going into the garage and starring at it....we are all very blessed to own such a vehicle..

Had a 2008 and when I bought it, they changed the headers to the upgraded MKII and the F1 pump was replaced. I drove it for only about 1,200 miles before I traded it in on a 458. During my year of ownership I change the battery and TPMS sensors. Other than that, the car ran flawless. If you don't have records of all fluids being changed, I would recommend it be done.

bought an 06 in June with 29k miles. Now it has 32k. I need to do the 30k service soon as it had a new clutch installed at 29k before I bought it so they did the oil and stuff back in April this year. The car has capristo headers and other than that not much. I have alllll the records from basically new, and it has had

    a/c compressor o ring replaced
    motor mounts
    clutch at 29k
brakes still at 50 percent (carbon)
f1 system over haul at 2k miles back in 2007 I believe
when I bought it the drivers radiator fan relay went out at 30k
    exhaust tip rattled

Other than that, I just need shock bushings that I will do when I lower it to scud height. overall with 3k miles in 6 months, very fun and reliable knock on wood.
