2007 Ferrari F430 Spider 8k miles 105k (flood, but not)

My guess is he saw this car on copart. He either purchased or will purchase if he sells it for more. He ahs disclosed it has water damage, so it will be hard to go back after him.

Someone will buy the car site unseen. Might request it gets taken to a dealer to be inspected, the inspection will be faked. Cash will be wired. The he will purchased the car from copart, and ship it.

Someone in NJ go look at the car. My guess is you can't go see it. Drive the car. My guess is you won't be able to drive it.

This guy stole a car with fake drivers license, fake call to bank, fake delivery of goods.

Why would someone even think he might be legit.

I just think it would be very interesting to have someone go see the car and drive. Take it to a dealer.

PPI on record for all potential buyers to review would alleviate some concerns. Results when you google the phone number the seller has listed on his public eBay ad are interesting.

He never really said, but it sounded like someone took a golf club to it and banged it up pretty good.

Doubt that, but it remains to be seen if we find out more. With the long history of Fchat detectives, I think we'll eventually get some more info.

And the "winning bidder", at $95.000, may be the ultimate loser, not really knowing just had badly this 430 got flooded. It may have been in some major flood event like Sandy, who knows? Hopefully it will turn out to be a decent car, but no matter what, it will always have the branded title, with a hugely diminished value, for that reason.

 

Unless he had someone bidding it up for him.

 

Not to mention, the winner of an eBay car has absolutely no obligation to purchase it or even leave a deposit, per eBay rules of motor vehicle auction being NON-binding.

 

I doubt there even is a car for sale... probably a scam to get a deposit and run.
