i went, must admit it was quite "tame" compared to last year... they dumbed down the starting process so that the cars couldnt "show off", there was an A1GP car which was pretty cool, but the bigger cars didnt do much, like the veyron, and zonda. although still very cool, seeing the veyron and enzo side by side. actually saw more cars around the starting area, just walking around saw 2 Porsche GTs, an SLR, zonda roadster, 599 all within 3 min of each other just cruising around at hydepark corner. saw an mclaren F1 LM as well in a show room later in the day, or at least im pretty sure its one

What color combo is that Veyron?

Not to mention the "Bullrun" show on SpikeTV, even though it really doesn't hold a candle to the real deal it still makes the general public aware of the name...

The orange 360 looks a little funny being all orange but the inside of the headlights are left the orig body color. Unless maybe the orange is a result of one of those temp vinyl sticker whole body wraps.

 

The orange Mac is indeed an F1 LM. I had a look at that same showroom (must be the same place!) earlier in the year and there were some great cars in there including ex-F1 race cars and classic Ferraris. There were loads of superb cars driving round London yesterday, but I must admit the start was a little bit dummed down. Still amazing to see all the cars and the atmosphere was great!

 

I can't believe someone took a 275 GTB/C on Gumball. Jesus. And a 250 spyder by the looks of it.

Yeah the headlights are a give away that it is a vinyl

 

jay-k and xibit? were in it, some others but didnt really know who they were, tony hawk as well was in it i think...
also last year they were able to do burnouts and what not a lot better, this year they had all the fencing really really close to the cars so that it was harder, and there was a much much larger police presence there... kinda a shame, but eh

I wouldn't have thought those cars are going the entire 3000 miles. The same guy owns them as well as the Enzo, Veyron and Cayenne Turbo. They might just have been there for the start. The coupe is definitely a 275GTC, but the spider isn't a genuine 250

 

Are those original wheels on the Ferrari F40?

nope!

they didn't get it road legal in time for the rally so there not in the rally.
but there website says they will enter next year with a gallardo limousine

 

It was being discussed at the start and the company who did the conversion - www.carbonyte.co.uk - had an extra long Range Rover Vogue Limo. The guys had pictures of the 360 Limo on show, but it was nowhere to be seen at the startline. It may be possible that the car was not completed on time or has joined the rally from outside London. I haven't seen it in any of the photos from checkpoints in mainland Europe however.
