The 41st annual Palo Alto Concours will take place this Sunday, June 24th at Stanford University. This year Ferrari is the featured European marque and we have 97 examples signed up. Everything from the barn-find 166MM Barchetta to the legendary 250 GTO to late model SuperAmerica and Enzo. We also have 23 Auburn-Cord-Dusenbergs in the American featured marque. Vintage trailers are back with some examples not brought out from collections until now. We also have Hot Rods as a special treat including the Torpedo, the 550 Maranello powered custom. Steve Moal will have is latest, as well as a few examples from Roy Brizio. Salinas Boys Rods will have Kirk
Hammett's (Metallica) '36 3 window custom. Others include original rods featured in the 1950's Car Craft and Hot Rod magazines, and Big Daddy Ed Roth.

There always are good friends from the FCA attending and this will be a good one. Go to www.paconcours.com for more information.

    See 'ya there.

Cant wait. Do you have anymore info of what cars will be coming. Like high-end exotics?
    In Ferrari will there be-Enzo, F50, F40, 599 GTB, 333 SP, etc.?
About how many cars come to the show?
Veyron, S7, Xj220, CGT, LP640, SLR, any cars of these etc.

    Thanks for any info :)

And it's at stanford too, right?

I have mentioned this before, but the focus of a concours is on older cars. True, some local dealers will bring some inventory, but you never know what it will be. Hope for the best, but expect the worse! In the meantime, enjoy the lovely selection of VINTAGE ferraris, which are more interesting anyway. :)

FXX are only allowed at sanctioned ferrari challenge events. Pretty strict guidelines from Ferrari themselves.

I don't think that's true. There was just an FXX at the Hartford Concourso, def not a Challenge event.

There is a smaller display with a Lambo LP 640, S7 and the 2008 Viper with 675 hp. It is being trucked by the manufacturer from MI for the show. You will probably see more Enzo's in the parking lot than in the show. :)

Other posters are correct, this is a classic car show with new stuff displayed by dealers and manuf. Enjoy seeing 2 GTO's (there were only 39 made) and the historical models, because they are the links to the past that made Ferrari the desirable brand it is today.

Yes it is at Stanford off Sand hill Road.

If you can see the 250GTOs and some rare vintage Ferraris and Art's F-50 GT1, you should be very happy with your high-end exotics appetite.

Oh and a rare Smurf Blue F430B..... Sorry Kevin, I just had to bring it up.

Definitely a cool show. But I had the ask the cops if that CHP Turbo Porsche was gonna be on active duty. Thankfully it was just a promotional gig.

Yikes, this gag provided quite a scare as I ran down 280 enroute to the show. Was driving with two other Fchatters. Saw a black car coming up fast but did not slow as it was a Porsche. Nearly fainted when it passed and I saw that it was CHP! Later learned that it was only a promo gig (and a damn good one at that!).

LOL. Now, that's one car that is definitely worth money. Would love to drive the CHP Turbo without the worry of looking in my rear view mirror for cops every minute.
