Does anyone know whether the 2008 430 fixed the exhaust bracket issue? My low mileage 430 is still in good shape, but I’m wondering whether i should preemptively replace the exhaust bracket. Are other solutions to consider?

My 2009 has the Capristo brackets on it. When you compare those to the stock brackets, you can see how they would help.
    Well worth the money.

I run the Fabspeed brackets since I put on my Kline exhaust. I have an 09 and according to my service records I had a one OEM bracket changed at about 1500 miles under warranty and the other OEM at about 4000 miles. So no they didn't fix the brackets, they just made them beefier. I like the fabspeed brackets better because they do allow some movement, but they don't partially tie the exhaust to the body of the car. To be honest I think the correct solution is what they did on the 458, which is to have a flexible section on the end of the exhaust manifold. There is some spring loading to the cat converter mounting from the exhaust manifold on the 430, but the car could use more.

The simple solution is to simply remove them. They are not needed and they stress the headers causing failure.

Here are my Fabspeed ones that say F430 on them. The stock ones look much uglier but they are in the same place attached to the transmission/crash box and the exhaust pipes.

That’s a major weak link on the 360 too.

The stock brackets are stiff fore and aft because they have stiffening gussets. The Fabspeed brackets allow fore/aft movement and do not stress the headers as much. If you want to keep your car "all Ferrari" the Factory sport exhaust completely eliminates the stress problem because the mufflers can move as needed. I have seen at least 1/2 inch of movement between cold and hot muffler positions on the Ferrari sport exhaust.
