This is purely a no-bull**** rank order of drivers. 1. Alonso...........(+19 on teammate) 2. Vettel............(+13) 3. Hamilton.......(+7) 4. Massa...........(+2) 5. Kubica...........(+4) 6. Raikkonen.....(-2) 7. Webber.........(+10) 8. Trulli..............(+4) 9. Heidfeld.........(-4) 10. Kovalainen...(-7) 11. Barrichello....(+2) 12. Glock............(-4) 13. Button..........(-2) 14. Rosberg.......(+5) 15. Bourdais......(-13) 16. Fisichella......(+2) 17. Coulthard....(-10) 18. Sutil.............(-2) 19. Nakajima.....(-5) 20. Piquet..........(-19) Not ranking Super Aguri. When I do rankings I generally just ask myself "Who do I think would have done better this season in the same car?" Remember, when teammate performances are way different it doesn't make much sense to place them very close together.
This will be a very complicated thread... Massa Hamilton Alonso Vettel Rubens Piquet I don't care about the rest lol
I'll go with in the points, based on pure driving talent and skill shown this year. 1 Alonso 2 Hamilton 3 Vettel 4 Massa 5 Kubica 6 Raikkonen 7 Trulli 8 Glock Piquet absolute last. If Massa or Kimi don't win the title next year I'd like to see FA pick up his third.
Hamilton Massa Alonso Kimi Kubica Vettel . . . Piquet Jr. (I can't believe they kept this guy for 09 tsk)
Everyone give him a break...it was only his first year. How many years we watched Ralf Schumacher drive? lol
Kubica Massa* vettel* hambone* alonso* raikkonen . . . . tony hawk . . the cleaning guy . . . piquet *where all VERY close
to be honest no im not 100% sure. i've not been watching alonso until mid season. also i forgot to put a * behind massa (editing now!). massa, vettel, hamilton and alonso were extremely close this year (in terms of performance).
So a guy that takes a car from the bottom/middle of the pack to two race wins and 60+ points is only equal with two guys in the best cars on the grid that didn't even break 100?
1) Hamilton (sophmore champion, fia nonsense) 2) Massa (beat vaunted WDC Teammate, Ferrari Pit Errors cost him) 3) Alonso (did a great job with what he could, almost picked him as #1) 4) Kubica (First Win, lead WDC, put Nick in the shade most of the time) 5) Kimi (Started the Year Well, was a bit unlucky mid year, will think he will win it again next year) 6) Vettel (Star of the Year, future WDC and potential Ferrari Driver)
1. Alonso 2. Massa 3. Vettel 4. Hamilton 5. Kimi 6. Kubica ,and the rest. I think Hamiton is an incredibly talented driver, but could benefit from more experience.
