Thanks for the compliments on the car. It is indeed a really pretty one.

From what I can seen in the service records, the manifolds are still the originals. Given the mileage, I'm not surprised any issues came up. Also, from my limited research, the "second series" headers came out after June of 2008 and this car was built in October.

Not saying it's immune to issues, but it could be a good reason why it still retains the original exhaust.
