the OFF button on these cars that shuts off the AC compressor is OFF when you push it in (same with the recirc button)

since getting cold weather i shut off the AC compressor but noticed that it won't blow hot air. when AC is back on the hot air works just fine.

    is this normal?

The whole point of having AC even when temps are on cooler side is to dehumidify the air before it is heated so you don't get fog on windows

The compressor will be automatically be shut down when ambient temps are too low for it to operate safely

Even on my BMW I keep the AC switch on all year round so the air is conditioned (meaning dehumidified) and temp regulated

You are correct! This is how mine works.

Before I knew Ferraris, I thought it worked similar to the "EC" or "Econ" button on most European AC controllers, in which case you can hit that to use heat without using your compressor for no reason. That's how my Mercedes' and Porsches worked. But I was wrong lol.

The heating & cooling duties are handled by the Climate Controlled System and consequently needs the compressor for both.

also the traction control off button in the 360 (maybe 430?) isnt traction control off (like every other car)... its wet weather mode. some of this stuff makes no sense
