    Hello,
I'm looking for a part and my shop owner says part is not available anywhere. My hydraulic motor for my F1 system in my 2008 Ferrari F430 has ceased. Car is like new, in wrapper, with 5,000 miles on it. Shop says he can't get part until Jan 2023. Which means my car can't be driven. Does anyone know where to locate part? Or is this a part that can be rebuilt? Take original part out, ship to place that can rebuild it, ship it back, and install. I'm trying to get my car back running and not sitting for 60-90 days. Car was shipped to my mechanic shop 9/20/22. So it's already been sitting there 45+ days. I thought someone in the F-Chat world, might be able to assist. Appreciate any help that can be provided. Send me a direct message if you can assist. Thanks

Seems like you're blaming your shop for Ferrari's inability to supply parts for their cars...Downtime on older Ferraris is not uncommon.
Looks like Ferrari Phili has one for about $2800

Are you looking for an F1 pump motor? If so I have one, brand new. I sold my car and don't need it. I also have a working actuator, resevoir etc.

If you can share the part number you need, that might be helpful,

Huh? Who said I was blaming anyone, because I surely didn't. Do you think I live under a rock and I'm unaware of parts supply shortage? I was simply looking to see if anyone in F-Chat world, might have a solution or a direction to go.

Good question. F1 pump was just replaced. My understanding is "Hydraulic Motor".

Thanks everyone for responding and trying to help. My mechanic just text me, he got the part, my car is fixed, and ready to roll. Very happy, car is back running again. Appreciate it.

I'm pretty sure a competent electric motor shop can rebuild them.
