    All, I have a 08 GT. My battery is dead. The emergency release cord for the trunk isn't opening it. Is there a way to jump the car from the engine compartment or does anyone know any other way to fix this??? Glenn

    This actually happened to me in a 1995 Jaguar XJR.

    I had to get the car towed and they were able to get the trunk open.
