Well, it’s official. Maserati will throw its Trident into the hands of any man brave enough to fork (so to speak) over enough ink for its newest, and coolest front engine coupe.

Maserati have announced that production will go as planned for the 08' super-coupe; targeting enthusiasts and 911 drivers alike. (It seems that both Ferrari & Maser are barking at Stuttgart’s front gate) The Mistral will combine both aggressive styling and outrageous performance stats in its classic Blue & White fashion, as it seems only Jason Castriota is able to do…
The Mistral will carry over its 2+2 design scheme from its predecessor, and undoubtedly shock every school child at the elementary, as you drop little Jimmy off in the mornings.

Time to call the dealer, gents!

That is not the car, and looks nothing like the new Maserati coupe. BTW the Original Mistral was not a 2 + 2. It was stricly a 2 seater.

It is really great that some of you guys are informed enough to be able to categorically deny that any given spy shot is not authentic. I am glad you have seen the real thing.
Now, can ANY OF YOU post a picture in a positive vein, showing the real thing, and not just post a comment to the negative saying that some spy shot isn't accurate?

The REAL car was shown (privately) at the Paris Auto this past Sept. Obviously cameras were not permitted, I talked with a half donzen people that were at the event and everyone seperately has stated that that none of the "Photoshop enhanced" images of what is the media is claiming is the car aren't even close.

The front of car is supposed to draw inspiration from the A6G Pinifarina Coupe. Everyone that has seen it describes it using the same word.....................Stunning!

Most of them are Ferrari/(Maserati) dealers. But one that has seen it in Italy is a personal friend that is an acclaimed automotive designer that worked used to work for Pinifarina. He described it the same way.

That's what happens when you become used to relying on spellcheck and it isn't available on a forum like this.
