I like it overall, but I can see alot of Camaro in it - like a Murci and a Z28's offspring.

Last I heard the NSX replacement was scrapped, apparently the bean counters have taken over at Honda.

There will be no NSX replacement. Because you need a V8 to be competative and Honda refuse to build a V8. In the mean time Toyota is laughing all the way to the bank.

Looks great! I love it! It does need a nice 450HP V8 though or at least a 3.6L turbo V6 with also 450HP.

Spiffy, But it needs to be pushing at least 450, and preferably more along the lines of 500 horsepower.

As current sales will indicate, people spending $75,000 USD on a sports car go for something else.

As Darth once said to me, there are some sports cars you can put a hundred dollar bill on the dash and dare your passenger to grab it, knowing they can't because of outright torque and G forces.

    That sells.

Most people don't care the NSX-R can twirl around the ring in almost supercar lap times with its lower diplacement n.a. motor, light weight, and agility.

They can't market a replacement car without marketing it above the NSX which they haven't been doing at all, and a high power rating along with good looks to restore, not just advance, the NSX image.

good point, point, hp sells,...ironically , this weekend i drove a friends nsx for the first time in a while and it was a blast to drive,...great steering, nice exhaust note, great steering and driving position, and it was very quick...and all this with 290 hp...neck the new bosxter s has 280hp and its a blast to drive...but again, hp gets the head lines and it sells...and for a quick test drive, getting thrown back inyour seat when flooring it gets attention, cheap thrill that is maybe....i wouldnt mind if the new nsx would be 2800lbs and 360hp....also, keep in mind the porsche gt3 only has 380 hp and it give the ferrari cs a run for its money....come tothink of it , the new 997 s has only 355hp, but that is very fast, and it feels more like 400 hp....

NSX kicks ass. If they make a new one I might defect.

They need to brand it NSX only and take the Honda and Acura logo off.

That Honda with the 4.0L V8 will never have the Velocity stacks installed if it becomes a production vehicle. Can you image the warranty claims and engine destruction if it would become released.

The next NSX (if there is one) needs to have competitive horsepower. Everyday sedans are now sporting 290HP and the horsepower levels of an $80K car should be massive (~400HP) and have gearing to boot.

If the NSX cannot push an honest 400HP (minimum) and keep its unique styling, it will go under.

I do like that concept though.

I haven't seen the styling yet.

I'm not going to say that the timing is wrong.

Is that a big enough hint?

The motor is my biggest concern. V8, V6, Turbo, NA, I don't care, as long as it is faster than A F430 for 90K!

First there was talk about a direct NSX replacement. Then there was talk about the HSC being the "next" NSX. Now there is discussion of some sort of variant of the HSC. The truth is, nobody knows and Honda ain't telling.

Don't lose the faith yet, though. Honda always likes to surprise.
