2008 Orlando Portafino Run

Did anybody that paid the $25.00 for the DVD of the run get theirs yet? Or are we getting ripped off?

I sent a PM with no response. Why not just answer the question here? Im sure there are others that gave away $25.00. That would like to know what happened to their money.

I called Mike at the number you provided. He states that the DVD was given out to everyone in Orlando. He says he is going to send one out to me. Ill let you all know if I get it.

Is there anyone on here that did receive their DVD?

 

I don't know all the details........and, I really don't want to get too involved in this........but, I spoke w/ Alex tonight.......

He indicated that people (including him) paid the film guys directly, so the film guys were responsible for delivering the CD's to the people that paid for them. And, that any issues should be directed towards the film guys. However, I told him that IMO since the event was under the S.FL.Toys event 'umbrella', that regardless of who's 'responsible' for delivering the CD, that he was ultimately the one people would look to in order to make things right. He agreed, and wants to make sure everything is right.......so, if you have any issues getting your CD you can PM Alex, and if necessary he indicated he would refund money to anyone who registered and/or has some proof of payment but didn't get the CD.

I was getting worried seeing that I ordered and purchased 1200 of them to pass out to friends and family at Christmas next year.

With receipt in hand I shall PM Alex and arrange to pick up my check.

Not really. I think Tom's "friends" at the soup kitchen will not have too much use for these dvd's... "Gee thanks, uh, what is it??? Can I get another slice of bread?" I found a picture of one of Tom's friends after receiveing the gift.

Let me set the story straight BT.....the guy in the picture doesen't frequent soup kitchen's.....he is actually my kick boxing instructor. After I refused to pay him he's been picketing in front of my house for the past week holding that ridiculous sign trying to extort money out of me....
