Selling my 2008 Subaru Sti, WRBlue. This car has a brand new engine, turbo and clutch, from the dealer! Over $12,000 in new parts and labor. The motor has 2000 miles of low rev break in and any miles since are easy driving, no track days or high revs.
This car does have a lowered suspension (Cobb sport springs) and a big rear Harmenmotive swaybar. (I have the matching front bar but it is not installed). The car has about a dozen track days. Car drives and handles great!
The body overall is in good shape. The right front corner has been scraped on a curb and the spoiler and hood scoop both have some sun fade. You can see from the photos that all 4 wheels have some light curb rash. The tires are Nitto NT05's with minimal tread. The interior is in good shape, the rear seat area shows signs of children. I also have the Subaru roof rack that will come with the car. This is a non-smoker, one owner car. No accidents. All maintenance has been performed.

    Asking $27,000.

Why the need for a new engine? The high $20K is asking a lot for a car with a history. Will make a fun track toy.

I miss my '02 bug eye!

Yeah, I had an 02 also, it was awesome.
The 08's have a known oil issue that causes failures.
The new motor should be looked at as a benefit but I know that is not always the case.
