September 14th 2008 Why? to Benefit and give to those who may not have it as well off as we do.The event will be benefiting Shriners Children's Hospital What does the day consist of? All the participants will meet in the morning at La Caille for a buffet breakfast and to get checked in. Once everyone is registered and has eaten we will leave La Caille and make our way to Shriners Hospital via Wasatch Blvd, and Foothill Drive. Upon arriving the cars will be lined up to be displayed and shown off to the public. There is another event goign on at Shriners this day, so there should be quite a few people gawking at the cars. There will be some kids who are patients, come out, admire and sit in some of the cars. Cars for Kids Participants will be handing out teddy bears and toys to the kids while we are there. After showing off the cars at Shriners Children’s Hospital, we will make our way up Emigration Canyon for a quick canyon cruise and at the top we will cut over and make our way down Parley’s Canyon and then head on to Miller Motorsports Park. At Miller Motorsports Park, all Cars for Kids participants will drive a lap in their cars on the track. After our lap, we will put our cars on display and then head to our VIP suite to watch the Hero’s of Speed racing event by Historic Sportscar Racing Ltd.. These VIP passes are good all weekend long, not just the day we will be there; feel free to use them Friday, and Saturday as well. After the Hero's of Speed race is over, we will all head into the executive clubhouse to enjoy a nice dinner (flank steak, cheese cake for dessert) and have the chance to participate in a silent auction.
