2008 Volkswagen GTI

We purchased the GTI with DSG automatic transmission new in June of ‘08 from New Milford Volkswagen. It has been dealer serviced and garaged the entire time we have owned it. The factory recommends oil changes every 10,000 miles. We did it at 5,000 mile intervals with records to substantiate. We have all of the service records, manuals and the original window sticker.

The GTI is equipped with the Autobahn Package and that includes A/C, leather-faced heated sports seats, upgraded stereo with iPod input, red brake calipers, power windows, power locks and electric sunroof. GTIs are also equipped with ABS, traction control, side air bags and curtains. The original, factory 17” alloys do have a few minor scatches. The tires are recent Continental PureContacts with just 7,500 miles on them. We have a set of roof bars that can be used for a number of accessories that carry bikes, storage boxes or even kayaks.

The paint is original and there has never been any damage to the car therefore it has a clean CarFax. There are a few minor marks in the front & rear bumper covers. The black plastic lower portion of the rear cap has a small scrape mark. All of the glass is original and there are no chips in the windshield. The DSG automatic transmission has a VW extended warranty (transferable) good until 100,000 miles or 10 years. We had the timing belt and water pump changed per factory recommended routine maintenance guidelines within the last 2 months. The A/C has been serviced and charged last month.

Everything works without exception and the GTI needs nothing but the next caretaker to go another 92,000 trouble free miles.
