I was really wondering why no one asked about it Well 1-resell value of cars in GCC is not as high as in other parts of the world 2- this car has been in family since 2009 ( bought and barely was used ) I paid for this car a little bit more then my selling price 3- you may research the same model in UAE market its ranging from 75k USD ( 2007 model ) up to 100k USD (2010 model) I am not selling it for profit so it's golden opportunity for whoever is interested. I would buy that in a second if it was eligible to come to Canada, but it's too new. I did inquire about an overseas car like the one in question because it was significantly cheaper than here, and I was told that's why overseas cars are cheaper is because they can't be sent to other markets and the market they are in determines price.
Pretty certain cars from the Middle East can be exported to most European, African, and Asian countries pretty easily. USA forget it.
But they have to be registered in the country they are going to and taxed. IE they see a car come from Oman, to England, England wont just pass the car along to the U.S. Then shipping for all that? LOL $10k+ easy not including any T's. My big thing after spending a lot of time in the middle east: Any exotic is going to have issues after running in 110 degree+ temps...It was a 118 here today... Sure Europe won't just pass the car through without taxes and all but still the over all price will be cheaper then market price there 1- 10% customs tax + 20% VAT ( 26k $ ) 2-Shipping coast starts from 3k $ ( door to port ) or 5k $ ( door to door ) In case if I was buying a Ferrari I would have it at port and drive till door And about temp. Variations ( I drive my car from Austria to Germany Jan 2016 to feb 2016 ) And then shipped back to Oman serviced on its time and no problems Not any exotic will have issue, some might but Ferrari's are different .
