    Do i assume you're the driver? :D
Great videos there, always love an onboard camera. Gives such brilliant perspective of the race!

    They are great!
I won't spoil it for the others, but it was interesting.
I like your comments on the video too.

Shanghai looks like an interesting track. Never realized how much turn 2 seems to go back on itself.

What top speed do you get to on that back straight, on the limiter?

Are there any spectators at the race?

I am the driver in the video, but some of my friends question my driving ability. :D

Our three modified 430 Challenge cars had short 5th & 6th put in, but turned out to be too short for Shanghai. So we topped out at 256kph about 600 meters from the back hairpin. The Porsche Cup S was geared properly and hits 272kph I think.

Unfortunately for the season opener there weren't any spectators so the atmosphere was no where near Sepang and Macau with huge crowds.

Thanks for helping me burn some time at work, nice drive and very entertaining.

How do the 430Cs compare to the 430 GT3s?

Im curious in these types of races are you allowed to modify your car at all? Wheels perhaps?

A lot slower but also a lot cheaper. :D Homologated 430GT3 has centrally mounted radiator, modified suspension, huge rear wing, etc..

Our own modified 430C cost less than a Kessel 430GT3 but has about 90% of the performance. In any case we are still a lot faster than a standard 430C.

Quite a bit of modifications are allowed, but must declare to the race committee. There are some seriously fast cars in the series.

Here's a video from the stands. The accident at the start.

And cwwhk, is there a way to speak to you about being a racing driver? I have some questions to ask you, that is if you don't mind spending the time :D

    You are THE DRIVER!!!

Only watched the 1st video so far. What a shame you got shunted from 3rd. You had a fantastic start. Thought that you had Sam for 2nd. You did an amazing job in Q to be sitting where you were on the grid. Great fun watching you hunt down the pack. Too bad you ran low on fuel. You should ask the team manager how that happened...

Great video. Everytime I have been at or near that track it has been raining! Great driving. Macau racing is fun but that lack of run off (or no run off) make things rather crazy. Macau nightlife entertainment is second to none! Good luck 888 the rest of the year. See you in Macau for the races.

Ha, ha, ha DM, punted off by my buddy FT no less.

This is the first time to run the cars at Shanghai. Fuel consumption was calculated based on limited practice laps not pushing 100% and some were in wet condition. So as the track condition improved for the race it turns out we under estimated. Typically we calculate to be only 7kg above minimum weight.

Thanks. Macau is an incredible street circuit. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my car is still in one piece come November for Macau.

This time in Shanghai that 430GT3 flipped over a couple of times. Driver was very lucky to escape unharmed. Could have been very bad. Out of respect for the driver's privacy I will not post any pictures of the accident, but the car is a write-off.

Wow, what a great way to start my day! Thanks for the videos :) Good on u for catching up from last & the car is very fast!

Some parts of the track are very much like Sepang. (I was @ the airport this morning & passed by it) I think the Japan GT is going there next month?

May I know what gearbox are you guys running on?

We will be at Sepang May 30-31 then again during Japan Super GT weekend in June 20-21.

We use stock gearbox with shortened 5th and 6th; a bit too short for Shanghai but should be perfect for Sepang.
