Byron Nelson week is nearly upon us, a month later than last year. Looking forward to it even though I have no idea who has committed to compete.

    Phil, are you still involved?

You can buy them from the Salesmanship Club of Dallas 214*742*3896 and tell them to credit Phil Cullum's account.

Yes Dave, I am a clubmember for life. We are now treating over 6,000 at risk kids at our J Eric Jonsson School in Oak Cliff,
our Family Works Center at Harry Hines and Backman Lake, and at our theraputic camp location in East Texas.

It has been a tough year to sell tickets, with my sales dropping in half, but our programs will continue, and the
Nelson will be better than ever.

A reminder that the Pavilion now stays open late, with live bands on thurs-sat nights.

Come on out guys and gals, watch some great golf, and support our local kids.

My plans are to go out earlier on either Thursday or Friday to watch golf a few hours, then hit the Pavilion.

Yes I am, but I assume you mean Mickelson ? He is really pretty lean for
    Phil right now.

so my plans tomorrow were to fly over to Ranger, TX for their annual fly-in and aerobatics demo. Ceilings are looking to be too low in the morning, but we'll see. If I don't fly I would like to hit the Byron Nelson tomorrow, maybe after the Boardwalk meet. At this point what would be the best way to get tickets? Even if I don't go tomorrow, I may go out there Sunday. Thanks.

Dave, Good to see you today. Sorry I missed Brian's group the day before. They have me moving with a group for CBS,
    so I'm hard to find.

A couple of pics from the Tuesday Kid's Clinic, with lot's of golfers and Pat Green the country star, and Mike Modano also.
The kids loved the long driving exhibition, and the watermellon shot at the end.

Then a few pics from Pro=Am day.

It has been a great week in red pants.

Glad I caught you over on 16 Phil! Cool pics, fun to see Mo in action on the range, but selfishly I wish he had been at the office instead. Rough season.

Spent all day Friday and most of yesterday out there. Mostly socializing Friday but followed Justin and Begay and Calcavecchia for their entire round on Saturday. First time I have followed 1 group through an entire round.

Justin's Eagle on 7 was neat to watch.

You red pantsed guys do a heck of a job putting on the tourney. Good work this year, as always.

Had a good short visit today. I've never walked the entire course, so just started with #1. Rory's group was already to 8 then so I was able to walk each hole standing on tee box, walking down fairway, and there was hardly anyone else around except a few red pants and people taking the towers down. I caught up to Rory's group on #12 and pretty much followed him all the way in. Although it was the leading group and a local favorite, it was still amazing all the great views and how close I got. Heard several personal conversations Rory's group would have on the tee box. The drive distance guy and equipment was interesting on the #16 tee. I guess there is remote equipment down the fairway and then this guy on the tee figures the data. I got a close look at fairway equipment on #8 when walking the course. In the group ahead of Rory's one of the guys hit his drive 319 in the air! The official said that was the 2nd longest of the day.

Who has done Colonial? How does it compare to Byron and still fun to walk around?

We spent Friday at the Byron. We had a blast with the crowd at the hotel pool. A friend had a block of rooms at the four seasons for the weekend. I may do that next year.

I used to go to the colonial every year. It was a lot of fun as well.
