Same here. I was going to say the VIN is the only thing salvageable judging by the pictures but that might be a stretch. Maybe the VIN is a typo and the OP can clear that up.

Wow...I remember the car. The car that was totaled was a Z06 with quite a few modifications along with aftermarket wheels which you can see from the salvage pictures. I remember it also being Gray/Silver in color.

The person driving the car in the salvage pictures was killed because it flipped over a guardrail and ending up in oncoming traffic. There was quite a few news stories about it.

That car does not have the same VIN. The VIN listed for that car is 1G1YZ26E895102873

    Not at all.
Accusing me of such a thing is a truly STUPID remark.
The car belongs to one of my closest friends and there is NOTHING wrong with it.
I have gone over the car thoroughly and ridden in it.
Yes, it was involved in an accident but as far as I can tell, all repair was done properly.
NOBODY was killed in the car.
After the purchase, it was brought to a Corvette specialist in Columbia, SC with what amounted to a blank check.
Tom told them to go through the car and repair or replace anything as needed.

So, instead of speculating and making asinine comments, why not contact Tom if you're interested?
If you're anywhere near Manning, SC and interested, stop and have a look. I doubt that anyone would be disappointed. You could even fly in - it's in a hanger at the Manning airport - MNI.

Any idea of the magnitude of the accident. Seller have any pics? That might help prospective buyers understand what happened?

Oh no, another Tom with a salvage title.
    J/K :)
Price might be a touch strong, as clean title C6 ZO6's are selling in the high 30's low 40's, with the new C7Z coming on line the C6's are dropping. I know, I have one.
