    Does anyone have any insight as to when the 2009 F1GP calendar will be released?

    i'm going to take a wild guess here ... sep or oct 2008.

    Usually just after the last FIA meeting of the year, anytime from October to December.

    Correct. You may see provisional schedules earlier, but changes do occur as late as December which can wreak havoc on your travel plans.

    The final 2000 calendar issued in December 1999 moved Australia (held in March) by one week.

    really? huh. surprising, i thought F1 was the premier brand and could dictate schedules. do you know why the 2000 calendar changed?
