    My $.02:

From the listing, "..Mechanically, it's a stock Elise SC..". Couldn't imagine paying a premium for a package that didn't improve the performance. Doubt the special addition will hold anything more than a marginal (if that) markup on top of a regular Elise SC. Might even detract as less buyers are looking for the Elise in such dark colors, even if it is BRG.

Lots of packages for cars add "stuff" rather than performance. In this case other than the colour (and green is a hard colour to resell even in a British roadster) the seats and wheels are both upgrades over standard so add value. Personally I think it looks fantastic and would pay a premium for it... but my wife would probably say "its green with a yellow stripe - who would want that?"

In terms of rarity and added value due to that I don't think there is any - its value is therefore that of an Elise with the upgraded bits (and any aesthetic value you place on it).

I like it :) - but when I was looking there was an earler type 25 available with two yellow stripes - SWMBO was not keen :(

Here is the earlier one (I think the single stripe plus roundels looks better though).

How many special editions are they going to make? California Edition, Purist Edition, "Type 25" Edition, 40th Anniversary Edition... the list goes on. This is getting to be worse than the '05-'09 Mustang...
