Yeah they had a ton. The car looks very interesting overall. Lots of changes from the Gallardo. Smoother shifting, new front end, and interior changes. The new wheels are also nice. Not sure if I am crazy about the front end but the car drives a lot differently than the last so it will probably grow on me. The thing I did not understand is the $200K starting sticker. Champion's Orange one stickered for $253K!?! That is a ton of money!!!!
I have to disagree, this thread is about the LP-560-4 and the fact that there is one located at Bergen County, well the fact is that the car is either a press car or a demo, not for sale. He was simply stating that he saw 5 of them at Champion, seems like he hit a sore spot? By the way, they are Black, Yellow, Blue, Orange, White. Nice little selection - but again - these are press cars! Anyway, I drove one last week, it's a vast improvment from the Gallardo. I own a Superleggera and I can tell you that they feel about equal, but the shifting has been greatly improved. ANyone who has driven a Gallardo will tell you that at very low speed and full turning radius the front end has a slight hop/grind from the 4wd system and when you take off in 1st gear the car sometimes 'jerks.' Well this was all corrected and the shifts like an animal - throw it into corsa mode and bang it takes off like a rocket when it shifts... Rumor has it that the 6spd transmission was revamped and they had a few issues with that and it has delayed production. I am doing a full test drive - write up for the Lamborghini Club of America Magazine - look for the upcoming issue article....
No sore spot. It's just kinda rude to write a post that says "that's a nice car, your competitor has 5," don't ya think? But it's not an issue because as NYCSpotter said, he didn't know Allan was the head honcho over at LoBC, so no harm no foul.
Motor Trend just Road Tested both cars and found the Scuderia faster both 0-60 (3.1 to 3.4) as well as quarter mile (11.2 to 11.4).
