Thanks Craig for the hospitality and leading "The Pack!" I am glad I brought the TR today... not as nimble on the twisties as the 308, but at least I had a chance as keeping up with the Noble (that is what I tell myself... there is not a chance I cold have hung with the Noble if you really opened it up).

Great freinds, great driving, great hospitality, and great weather... that is what it is all about. Lets hope the weather holds for another week for our trip to AVF next Sunday.

Lane, glad to hear the check engine stayed off so you can make the trip up tomorrow.

All I can say now is I need a Tubi! What a pleasure it was to be bringing up the rear listening to the sweet sound of Frank, Jay, and Nero Joe's exhaust note.

    See you guys tomorrow.

I'm still giddy ... this was by far my best day with the car. My status recently (50 posts) went from Rookie to Karting :)

Yeah, it was a blast, guys. I'm sure the neighbors are still buzzing about the exit parade. :)Thanks for making the trip down everyone.

Sure wish the road hadn't been double yellow while behind that slow moving Nash Metropolitan at the end of our tour. Would have loved doing a multiple scream by on his slow motion act. :D

Thankfully, we had Lane's playground all to ourselves with no traffic in front of us the whole way. And that is the first time I have ever been stopped at the swing bridge. Honest.

Lane, do you want to meet at the bank at 8? Unfortunately, I have to drive the SUV tomorrow, but I can tag along with you to keep an eye on the CEL. I have to pick the wife up at the airport at noon. Guess I'll have to park in "the other car" lot tomorrow. :(

I was there yesterday (Sat) and thought everyone from Fchat was heading out today (Sun), if I had known I would have introduced myself. We left just at the start of the final race and saw FJS on the way home. It's tough to miss a Ferrari in such a small state. Really wanted to go today for the big show, but have a prior engagement.

Got some pictures on a camera that isn't mine, and one that uses what is possibly the only cable I don't have at my house. When I figure out a way to upload them I will post here for anyone not able to go. Just seeing that Silver Arrow made the trip worth it with lots of Lotus, Porsche, Bugatti and even a Mosler mixed in there. Everyone heading out today enjoy the drive out there, it made me wish I took the bike.

Presently the plans are to meet in Gbury like always and roll out about 10:00 on some sweet and scenic roads arriving AVF about 11:15. Taking the same route as last year that everyone seemed to enjoy.

Just ordered a couple of Go Pro Wide Angle motorsports cameras. Should have them this week. I was thinking maybe we could mount one on the lead car looking rearward and one on the trail car looking forward to capture our cruise up and back this year and then edit later.

This will give you an idea of what they can do. This video was shot last week at Thunderhill in CA at a Noble gathering hosted by TurboHoses, the guys that I used for a lot of my Noble upgrades and tuning.

Lane, If the +1 after peoples name means that they are bringing a guest, please add a +1 after my name. My +1 doesn't eat much, but I want AVF polo to have a accurate head count. Also, do you guys head up 91 or 84. I don't want to come to Glastonbury. I'll wait along the highway up my way and join in there.

For those of you that were concerned. I believe I have identified and corrected the CEL. A vaccum hose came off the exhaust cold air injection canister causing mis interpretation of engine condition and a Vaccum leak. All appears to be resolved. Fingers crossed.

    good news ... fingers crossed

luckily for me, my biggest challenge is keeping her spotless ... but I know that will change. I've done over 1K miles so far mostly thanks to you guys. I am up to 3400, just a matter of time before I have to do the 5K service. I had thought it would coincide with my yearly fluids in 6/10 but on a faster pace.

Nice shots. So much better than someone trying to hold a camcorder out the window, or even the mounts people use on the headrests. But... is there a mic option that you can mount remotely? Somewhere to get the sweet engine note instead of the wind hiss?

Lane, looks like my wife wants to come next Sunday too, so add a +1 to my name. Her only concern is if it is crummy weather. Also, I've got the word on on Bimmerfest and M3Forums. Lots of views, but no replies yet.

    Hi Phil,

    I've updated your numbers.

Non-display vehicles, or as we call them, ESVs (event support vehicles) may be parked on the lawn between the barn and gardens. I'll park my daily driver there to get everyone started. Just follow the gravel drive through the chiccane and proceed to the tree line. We have ample free off-street parking to offer.
