Posts #1 and 1000 for St. B, appropriate Its been a great 5 months for me! there, I made it 1000 replies
I'll be there, 348 will not. Both my front fog/driving lights are out so I don't have any signals. I don't think I will have the car out until next year, but at least I can get some stuff done in the mean time. --Mike
I need to make at least one more gathering this year. I would have come this past Sunday if I didn't oversleep. I've been holding off on putting away the M3 for the winter, so maybe I'll get her out once more. Otherwise, expect a very dirty station wagon... with or without snow wheels and tires, depending on weather.
it amazes me that you guys are able to pull 15-20 cars together every weekend. thats dedication. we used to do it up our way, and would be lucky if we could get 5 cars. lol
You spelled dedication wrong....It's R-E-T-A-R-D-E-D. (How do you spell the sound it makes when you flip your lower lip with you index finger?)
I think our first gathering had 5, so that's a good start. In just two years we've grown to this. Can't wait for 2010, I'm sure it will only be better. I plan on being there on January 3rd with the Fcar.
A big help I think is that as cars drop in price more end up in hands of drivers and not just as garage queens. Now keep on dropping, 360 Challenge Stradale!!!
Its great seeing people enjoy thier cars, mine is my set of golf clubs. These cars are like drug addiction, once you try one your hooked. Sunday is the day everyone runs to thier garage to get thier fix.
I agree. I have been told its crazy to buy a "car" like I did ... A "car" for me is just transportation ... a vehicle to go to work and do the mundane ... my 430 is like a boat on 4 wheels ... it is a pleasure vehicle ... a hobby ... its my golf substitute drive and ENJOY and at the risk of being all mushy ... meeting my F Chat friends and enjoying the "car" with all of you has made all the difference

Not mushy at all. I agree. If not for the "gang" all I would do is drive it to Starbucks by myself on Sunday and come home (hell that is what I was doing in Rocky Hill before Lane, Jay, etc showed up). It wasn't until this group got started that I really started to enjoy the car.
Yup. Sundays are always kept as a "Must Do" for me as well. It's all because of the people. We really do have a good group. I wouldn't care if it was just me as well, I'd still make trip. I have a feeling 2010 will be a great year with many activities! Snow or not we can still find somethings to do. --Mike
I agree, now I have something to do and enjoy every week. I'm thankful that you all have accepted me into your circle and allow me to share my passion for cars with you all. Seeing how much you guys enjoy your cars after this group I will have to bug my dad to come with his car so he can enjoy it more and share it with others.
My father was at Shelby's factory yesterday and took this picture. OK it isn't Ferraris but I'm sure you'll still enjoy it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Have you ever gone to the Factory 5 open house in MA.? I was there two years ago, they build some awsome big boy toys. They have the entire assembly of thier cars down to a science, awsome to see. BTW, Great Pics!!!
Here's a couple of pictures with my Dad's Ferrari. They meet on Sunday mornings too. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
