Sorry to miss Jay's Firebird. I hope he brings it again. Good to see the Phil made it. My car's insurance is still active. He might have some competition the end of this year and the begining of the next.

Round trip limo from where? I'm in Fairfield County but going up to Boston to see some friends or just for the weekend is no big deal, sounds good. What are the odds of winning?

I went to Roccos and had a great time. I was talking to Pete about getting serious about picking a winter meeting spot, maybe someplace to get a full breakfast. It should have a good parking lot in case we take out the F-Cars. I'm keeping the 348 road ready all winter.

Hey, come down to the shoreline. Breakfast at Denny's in Westbrook. It's warmer down here and we don't get as much snow as you "northerners" do. :)

Matt that car is beautiful. I remember you were talking about Corvettes that day we were at F40 open house.
It is clearly obvious - your wife is the greatest. :)

Gorgeous car Matt! That's one of my favorite Vette's...427, side pipes, split window...perfect! Wasn't that one on Ferrariads for a while? I think I remember seeing that one somewhere online. That's quite a collection you have there, I vote next garage meet at your place :D

Has anyone gone to the Ferrari driving experience at Mont Treblent?

I got an email enticing me for the 2010 season. For this upcoming year the fleet of cars will be the new 458 Italia, 430 Scud, 599 HGTE and California ... wow ... a chance to drive a 458 this summer on a track before most guys lucky enough to get one even get to take delivery

I'm thinking of doing it. Any one else get the email?

I agree. While I'd love to have 4 different Ferrari's I'm pretty sure my budget only allows me to maintain one :)

We'll certainly have a meet at my house next spring. I have to admit though ... it's not a 427, just the hood. It's really a 327. I was going to take the 427 badge off the hood, but it's riveted in, so that will stay for now, and I'll be a poser :)

I didn't get the e-mail, but I was interested in doing it. I took a Skip Barber class over the summer and it was awesome. I can only imagine how awesome the Mont Treblent experience is.

So I was just itching for a Ferrari project for the winter...and stumbled across this beauty. Needed full restoration, seems that Barbie went all 'Tiger Woods' on Ken's ass so the car had some scratches, peeling labels, etc. Fortunately no major golf club damage was uncovered.

First hit it with 4000 grit paper, now some 0.05 micron alumina polish....she'll be good as new before Christmas. My girls are going to be thrilled with this, for the past year they've been driving Barbies around in a Jeep. Embarrassing. I do expect the occasional jaunt down the stairs so I'm not aiming for Concorso condition or anything. :D
