The 43rd Palo Alto Concours d'Elegance at Stanford will take place this Sunday off Sand Hill Road on the Stanford Campus. Go to www.paconcours.com for more information.

The featured marques are Mustang and Porsche. There are more than 20 vintage Shelbys registered and the Porsche contingent will be well represented. I know there are several 956 and 962 race cars entered, as well as the 2003 Daytona 24 hours Monster Cable Porsche. I'm putting together a race car display with Phil Hill's Pebble Beach Road Race winning Jag XK-120, the 2002 Sebring winning Corvette C5R of Ron Fellows, a JaguarSport XJR-15, Ferrari TR 59/60, and many others.

    Hope you can join us.

Thanks! Looks like that one will probably be a good show and have a good turnout as well! Hmmm............Not sure which one to go to either! Both are in opposite directions for me since I'm located approximately in the middle! Decisions........Decisions! :D

The benefit looks like it will be an awesome drive and event. And in terms of sheer quantity, I think there will be more supercars there, especially Italian. But if you're asking about "exotic", you'll find it's quite a relative term as the Concours will have cars like the 917, Rothmans 956, 962, and the Flying Lizard Troy Lee 80 LeMans car.

Saw the California there - wow, what a chunky bugger. Almost a caricature out of Pixar's "Cars".

Its an original color. Several of us were a little less than excited about it at first but it grew on us. Wouldn't be my first choice but I see a lot of colors I like less.
