Yes there out there but mostly the low price Scud.are high miles cars or there a story or issues with them trying to cash in, were talking about low mileage Scud. that havn't been beating up or crashed will sell at a Premium prices, 2000 WORLD WIDE not bad , how many in North America maybe 30 and how many Total rightoff from crashes and Raced, now that 2000 number just get lower , it all about supply and demand right now and were not going to give them away ether, )
Did you really jus say there are only 30 scuds in North America. Your car being born a canda car doesn't hold the same value as a usa car 6k miles isn't exactaly low miles. I understand you want a premium for your car. But. Put the pipe down. Making outrageous claims how many are in usa not wise...There is probably 30 in florida alone. And a bit of advice. When your car doesn't sell at a current price don't threaten to raise it doesn't make any sense
I Can,t see being more then then 30 Scud. out there , what does it matter if it a Canadian or USA there were born under the same roof, and I think 6000k is a low mile car , I price my car accord to the Market value at what others are selling them at so I,am not out of line with my price in the same shape as mine, and there just going to go up in time , )
I think you will find significantly more Scud's than 30 in the US, more like 30 in each major US city. Your assertion that all the other cars in the market are high mileage, raced, crashed etc... is dubious at best. You might want to stick to facts and drop all the manufactured hype. You have a nice Scud, I hope it sells at a price that works out for you. Good luck with your sale.
I don't think there are a lot of Scud buyers that are willing to pay a large premium for a low mile car or even a specific color. There are just too many other good cars available at lower prices, and educated buyers realize it is actually a good thing if these cars have some decent miles on them and have actually been driven. Not to mention that once you get over $200k you are in 458 Italia territory. I think the Scud is a phenomenal car, but I don't think you will find many buyers with $200k to spend that wouldn't go with a 458. That is why there is really a price ceiling on Scuds.
I,am just selling a 09 scuderia it amazing car 6,000k, I,am asking 209,000k, I really don't care about the 458 value, there people selling there 458 for a Scuderia ,so what all the drama on the price there 300k Ferraris ,would everyone like me to sell it for 100k I bet a lot of people would love that ,so if your in the market for a Scuderia I have one for sell , )
$50,000 premium for a car with 8000 miles less than the same spec 09 Scottsdale car. Speculator not a driver?
I really don't see a big crossover between Scud and 458 buyers. I think if someone is shopping for a Scud, they might also be thinking of a CS or a Speciale, but the 458 is just a totally different car and a different market. I also still agree with the Scud pricing model: anything below 10k miles is low miles.
The car at SF Ferrari had the asking price of $50k higher but it most likely didn't sell for the ask price.
I believe that in the US a 2009 will sell for significantly more than a 2008 so if we are talking about average sales price I believe you must only look at 2009 since that is what the subject car is.. I also in my shopping found that their seems to be a large number of BLACK scuds for sale and during the time I was looking None of them sold.. that I knew of.. also there is just no doubt as with every late model ferrari cars with low mileage seem to sell for more then cars with high mileage. Also a car without a stripe will sell for less. so weather 209 is a good price or not I o not know but it is a nice scud in a very good color so all the boxes are checked.. If I were in the market I would have called him. I also liked the silver /red car that was for sale it is a 2008 and at the time I was looking it was offered to me for over 200 which was above the market at the time... I ended up buying a perfect 2009 in a very good color for around 190 2 years ago...at the time cars were being advertised for between 175 and 195.. So to me I was willing to pay well above the low market but I got one of the best scuds I know of....In addition I have turned down 3 speciale build slots including one of the first and one just this week for one of the last .. because I would have to sell my SCUD to make room for it.. and I really think the SCUD is very special.... the above is just my opinion for what is is worth;...
I think i,am being fair at my price at 209k at a 6,000 miles 1 owner car, it loaded with every opition available , dealer would give me lower on a trade-in but i would save on taxes on a trade-in so i,am at the same price , Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
he got a great deal at 235k "wow" though it would go highter then that , great car with a great price
i don,t think so he got a super deal ,it just to show you the prices are going up on scuds. at 235k it a great deal for a very low mile car ,
I think the problem is you "claiming" someone got a "super" deal paying $235k for a Scud (and a Gray one at that)!!! And for the record, I don't believe for one second someone would be that uneducated that they'd pay a good $35k over what it's actually worth. You can find a nice 16M (which as you "should" know is limited production of 499) for that kind of money. Years of your hyping up the Scud are just getting old to a lot of us. Great cars.... yes. But they are NOT rising in value. They are however, holding somewhat steady at best.
Hey , All I,am saying I,am selling mine at a great price 209k if someone got 235 k for there scuderia great for them so what is that telling you !!
I'd like to thank everyone who contacted me regarding a Scud. I bought a car a few weeks ago from a dealer. I know I paid more than buying from a private party but I am trying to avoid any "drama" in buying a car. Everyone is busy and I don't want to waste my time or anyone else's time in buying a car. Some sellers are a bit too aggressive and trying to justify the asking price, which I believe turns off buyers (someone like me). Repeatedly bumping the threads doesn't bring in more interests, IMHO. Some buyers are can also be obnoxious in trying to tell sellers that their cars are worth wholesale prices. If sellers really think that the prices are going up, may be they should just keep their cars so they can make more money down the road The buyers who think the prices are too high, should just sit tight and wait for the prices to come down-just ask the folks in San Francisco who are still waiting to buy a house when the prices drop. No one is going to give their cars away and I think most people are sophisticated enough to know where the market lies. I will be looking for another low mile (3K or less) Scud or 16M in a couple months once I sell my gt3rs. Hopefully I can find a perfect one owner car at wholesale price
