2009 TORONTO EXOTIC CAR CRUISE!!! I have had a lot of interest regarding the next Toronto Exotic Car Cruise as the past 4 years I can only remember awesome turn outs with some truly amazing cars. I will post the list of cars as people register for the cruise. As for a date August 15th has been set. Not sure on locations etc yet but will know in the next few weeks as I need to run through the route. I do know it will be starting in Toronto and we will be convoying north from there. This cruise should be un real as there is already an amazing amount of cars coming. Send me details if youre interested in joining. You can also email me at [email protected] Also is it possible to make this a sticky post? Here is a few links to the past few years of cruises. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9r9KEktPa1M http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vt2iWE-S--Y http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lc1bF2kM55I Photos: http://imageevent.com/prelude/exoticcarcruises;jsessionid=n9oha5bj49.tiger_s Here is the list so far: 2008 Matt black spider 2002 Viper ACR twin Turbo 2005 Viper twin Turbo Porsche 911 Ferrari 430 NSX SLR McLaren 2006 Vette 2006 Viper Lamborghini Murcielago Ferrari 360 911 Turbo GT40 Ferrari 355 1999 355 f1 Z06Vette 2006 vette Viper Porsche carrera c2 2004 Porsche 911 2004 Cadi XLR 2004 Ferrari 360 2009 Z06 Vette 2009 Z06 Vette Gallardo Audi R8

I am trying to make this post a sticky! I need help to get the word out there. I want to see how big of an event we can make this. Thanks Zak
Nice media collection , but you should try to cover up all the license plates in your photos and videos for privacy and security reasons. This is one of the reasons why I am reluctant about attending to these events. You'd be shocked at what people can do with these private details. That's my 2 cents...
Perfect combo!! How long do you stand there wondering.. "Hmmm... which one do I drive?"? Btw, how's your experience with the 930 on maintenance?
Sorry to butt in - but my experience in about 10 years of 84 930 ownership has been fantastic - average about $ 700/year with maintenance and repairs in that time and I used to drive it 7 months a year as a daily driver - just get in and go. Not much to go wrong with these things - very simple and parts are readily available. Since the F-car came, mine is up for sale - can't afford to keep both with kids going to University soon. Let me know if you want a deal on a great car - black of course! Ilio
Maintenance isn't too bad. Once you get everything sorted it's very reliable. Certain things are expected to require maintenance and upgrade due to fatigue or poor original design or previous owner misuse. I am to the point where everything I have done including tranny, chain tensioners, heads, exhaust, WUR, CDI ignition etc etc so I feel confident that I now have a great reliable fast car. I guess if I add all the bills it might look like a high maintenence vehicle in relation to the amount of time I've owned it but I chose to address everything in order to bring my car up to a level where I feel comfortable enough to drive it how I want and where I want. In hind sight I probably would have been better off buying an already sorted car and paying the load up front unfortunately never knowing if it was done correctly. Like some say about F-cars, it's better to buy a car needing a major with a reduced price and having it done yourself than paying for it in the purchase price and never knowing what corners were cut. The only thing that sucks is after doing everything and spending boat loads of money I'll probably end up selling it and moving on to something else. Isn't that the way it works sometimes, just like chasing women, it's the thrill of the catch, once you have it you get bored and move onto the next one. (I didn't follow that rule though, the one I caught is a keeper she's a star)
Hello Folks - if my schedule allowed , I would love to join. I am now in Europe for vacation and will return at the end of July thereafter I should be able to know my schedule.
Thanks for the replies Shemm and Shemmer!! I almost took the plunge on an older 911 turbo a few months ago (and am still mentally there), but it worked out for the best that I put the idea on hold. Even prior to that, maintenance was always something that scared me away. I've also come to realize how important it is to have a place you're comfortable bringing your car to have it fixed.
Curious to know how far north you're coming. I'm on Manitoulin Island. The cruise sounds like a hoot. Dave
I will be in attendance! I obviously won't be "cruising", as my late model sports sedan wouldn't turn too many heads but I'll be there to watch!
Hey Shinny, the cruise will not be coming to far north. Barrie, wasaga, Collingwood kind of deal. Its a great cruise if you need to bail out during the middle of the day. There will also be lunch stops etc. Should be a crazy cruise. Good times are coming!!!
