2010 Ferrari 458 Italia VIN: ZFF67NFA1A0173774 58,900 mi $160K As of this writing, the cheapest Ferrari 458 listed in autrotrader is a modded 2011 with a rebuilt title and 35K miles at $150K. The second cheapest listed one is a 2010 with good title but 131K miles at $159K. I have too many cars lately, so I’m listing my 2010 Ferrari 458 for sale and based on these two other options, mine should be one of the best values currently out there. Sitting at 59K miles (and counting as I try to drive it) as well as a non modded version with a clean title, I’m listing mine at $160K OBO Probably one of the best maintained ones and loved driving it (purchased it with less than 10,000 miles!). Spared no expense whenever it needed something and under my ownership always at the Ferrari dealership as I was maintaining Ferrari’s extended warranty. I have all service records from my local Ferrari dealership for my ownership as well as previous owner. I also have copy of clean carfax as well. Vehicle currently located in Dallas, TX Last serviced and inspected May 3 at local Ferrari dealership. No issues or codes and drives flawlessly! Those seats are EPIC. I bet this runs like a Swiss watch. LOVE to see these babies get used for what they’re best at: DRIVING! kudos! You don’t need luck to sell, she’s a beauty!
Nice car. I'm just curious how much the ss rotors are vs the oem? Also any performance differences you saw? Thank you
Curious, with replacing the CC rotors at 30k miles, I thought these were supposed to last the lifetime of the car under normal street driving. I think other folks on here would ask: has this been tracked? Still, this looks great. I am sure it will be a very quick sale.
Not saying this car was tracked but just to dispel some myths: Tracking a car doesn't damage the car so long as proper maintenance is performed. The car is not "ruined" by tracking it. It's a machine, worn parts get repaired/ replaced....it's no biggie. This is where a good inspection and maintenance records are key....and buying from someone who had the pockets for proper care and maintenance. This seems like a very nice car, at a great price for someone who wants to drive it.
People have some issue with tracked cars Personally i have no issue if its maintained accordingly Ive seen street driven cars low miles that were shagged!
People who track cars regularly tend to OVER maintain them. Good to keep in mind. Tracking a car in no way harms it. Wrecking a car on track can hurt it, just like wrecking it on the street. Get a good PPI and enjoy.
Ruined is extreme, but there is no doubt that the higher performance seen on the track increases wear and tear. I think the service history typically seen on challenge cars reflects this. However, that is perhaps an extreme example comparing it to a street car that casually sees a track once in awhile. Casually lapping once in awhile may be benign, but my point about the CC disks in this case I believe is appropriate. Alot of Porsche guys do this modification to save on brake replacements when they track their cars. Inspections may allude to track history but not really define the degree of wear and tear. The point made later about track cars having more intense maintenance schedules is also a valid one. In addition to service documentation, a rough track history would also be helpful. Such history might push me to get a CPO on a car... Mclaren voids their comparable warranty with track use. Im sure there's a good reason for that.
loved all the comments about track vs street maintenance. to answer your question, I have taken the 458 on the track on a couple of occasions, but I usually take 2-3 cars to drive at a HDPE weekend event, so i think it's fair to say say i tracked the 458 for a total of about 10-15 hours in 4 and a half years of owning the car (2-3 hours for every track weekend event I attended) as mentioned on the post, I always kept the car checked and maintained, most of them at Boardwalk Ferrari Dallas so I can definitely agree with the guys hat state tracked cars are most of the times more meticulously maintained than some street cars. On the CCM vs SS rotors, i'm still amazed the rotors wore out so fast (it was about 12-18 months after buying it and not heavy tracking at all)... i did some research and it seems that the CCM process on Ferrari and Lamborghini used on those years is not as advanced as the ones used at Porsche, for example, where CCMs are meant to last well over 50-60K miles. let me know if you have any more questions or comments, but again, appreciate everyone's feedback!
The Ferrari and Porsche ceramic rotors will last the lifetime of the car for street driving. 100,000 miles no problem.
to ALL: yes, car is still available BUT currently awaiting for PPIs from a couple of interested buyers that have first dibs. feel free to send DM and I'll add you to the list to contact if those don't pan out!
I love the photography in the pics! Very well done. Someone is going to get a great deal and a blast of fun to along with it! GLWS
What a great car for someone that actually wants to put miles on it without fear of hurting the value.
